Meet Rachel Klinker
Sports have always been a part of Rachel’s life. As the daughter of a physical education teacher, there was no doubt that she would grow up doing a sport. She did basketball, gymnastics, soccer, volleyball, and even horseback riding! But Rachel became hooked on swimming when she would get donuts every week while swimming with her summer swim team.
As Rachel grew older, she developed a deep love and appreciation for the sport, always trying to find new ways to get faster, learn from her peers, or qualify for faster meets so she could travel to new cities. She continued to work hard to swim collegiately at the University of California, Berkeley, where she spent 5 years swimming collegiately and striving to be better.
Now as a professional swimmer, Rachel strives to find joy every day in doing what she loves most and finding ways to share her passion with others. 2025 will be her first year on the U.S. National Team, qualifying in the 200 butterfly after a breakout performance at the 2024 Worlds where she placed 4th overall.
Rachel loves speaking to groups and her topics include: chasing your dreams, setting goals, and striving to become better. If you are interested in having Rachel speak at your next event, please get in touch.
